A woman has been arrested in Barkerend Road, Bradford after an 18-month-old baby died following a fall from a 6th floor window. The woman was captured by police on suspicion of attempt to commit murder of the tyke.
Police officers were called to the residential area in Bradford Barkerend Road, at around 5.10pm on Saturday 21st October 2017 in the evening following a report that a child had suffered life-threatening injuries.
However, by the time the police officers arrived, the 18-month-old boy had passed away, West Yorkshire Police said.
According to reports about those who were at the site of the incidence, it was very evident that they were so much traumatized about the act as per what they witnessed.
“A 23-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the baby’s fall and she is currently receiving medical assessment in custody,” said one of the police officers.
Police said they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident but have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information about the saddening incidence to come forward and share the information with them.
