Boy Orphaned After Parents Perish In Swansea Car Crash

A baby boy has been orphaned after his parents perished in a car crash. The 23-year-old man and 18-year-old woman both died from injuries sustained when the car left the road and crashed into a lamp post.
The incident happened at they were travelling south in the direction of Clydach on Swansea Road when the car crashed at around 3.15am on Saturday November 4.

The 11-month-old child was hurt in the crash near Swansea, but his injuries are not life-threatening and he has been taken to Morriston Hospital in Swansea.
The man was driving the black Peugeot 206, with the woman on the front seat passenger and the baby in the back seat.

Trained officers from South Wales Police’s Roads Policing Family Liaison unit are supporting the families of the victims.
