Hampshire Driver In Custody For Attempting To Kill Children

A 29 year old man from Hampshire, Owen Scott has denied attempting to murder four children who were found seriously injured following a car crash. According to current situation and reports, Scott crashed a car into a pub near Thurgoland, Barnsley. Among those who were injured are Two girls, aged seven and eight, and two boys, aged 21 and nine months.

A statement from the Police said their injuries were “not all consistent with the collision”.
According to Sheffield Crown Court, Owen Scott, of Fawley, Hampshire, was charged with four counts of attempted murder and careless plus dangerous driving. However, Scott pleaded not guilty in front of the court

Owen Scott appeared via a video link and will face court trial on 29 January 2018.
He was driving a grey Dacia Logan along the A629 Copster Lane when it left the road and crashed into the front wall of the pub at around 00:25 BST on 23 August 2017.
Sheffield Crown Court Judge Mr. David Dixon remanded Scott in custody.
